CAIRO: The Egyptian armed forces command on Sunday said it "rejects any interference" in the security of the Sinai peninsula, after Israel's deadly pursuit of Palestinian assailants. "Egypt rejects any interference by any party, either by words or by acts or by expression of opinion, in the security of Sinai which is a purely Egyptian matter," it said in a statement read by Information Minister Osama Heikal. |
