A delegation from the Palestinian Hamas movement has crossed the Rafah crossing to head to Cairo.
The delegation is on their way to Cairo to attend an Egyptian-hosted meeting with a delegation representing the Fatah movement.
Hamas delegation is led by its leading figure Khalil Al-Heya.
An official source at the Rafah crossing said that the delegation includes three other members of the movement.
Informed sources said the purpose of the meeting is to follow up on the implementation of Palestinian national reconciliation agreement, which was sponsored by Egypt.
The meeting will also focus on the files of Jerusalem as well as the refugees right of return, Jewish settlement and restructuring of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
