Settlers Uproot 75 Olive Trees in Nablus

NABLUS, August 21, 2011 (WAFA) - Jewish settlers Sunday uprooted 75 olive trees in Qasra village southeast of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, according to a Palestinian official.

Ghassan Daghlas, the official in charge of the settlements file in the northern West Bank, said the village residents discovered this morning that the trees had been uprooted, pointing out that the settlers had done this in the night.

Daghlas added that the settlers have escalated their attacks, over the last few days, against Palestinians in more than one village near Nablus.
