Thousands attend funeral for PRC members, child

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- Thousands joined funeral services for the seven people who were killed Thursday in airstrikes targeting the leaders of the Popular Resistance Committees in Gaza.

In Rafah, attendees of the funeral for six Palestinians, including the head of the PRC, started from An-Najjar hospital and marched to the victims' homes and then the cemetery.

Abu Mujahed, the spokesman of the PRC, denied any connection to the Eilat attacks.

In Gaza City, a packed service was held for 13-year-old Mahmud Abu Samra, who was killed in shelling overnight during a separate series of airstrikes.
