Al-Malki:Lieberman’s Declarations against Abbas Reflect Bandits Mindset

RAMALLAH, October 25, 2011 (WAFA) - Foreign Affairs Minister, Riyad Al-Malki said in a statement Tuesday that Right-wing Israeli foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman’s declarations against President Mahmoud Abbas reflect the mindset of bandits.

He considered the declarations “a flagrant assault against all of the political, diplomatic and humanitarian values, principles and ethics,” by publicly inciting to kill Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, calling for his assassination when Lieberman said, “Abu Mazen represents the only obstacles for peace and must be removed to revive the peace process.”

Al Malki considered Lieberman’s declarations “an extension of the radical movement in Israel calling for the killing and displacement of Palestinians, controlling over their land and denying their human and national existence.”

He added, “The last person who has the right to talk about peace and coexistence is the settler Lieberman, who is known for his radical, aggressive and inhumane positions.”

The statement added, “Lieberman’s disrespect to the Palestinian, Arab and international awareness that very well realizes the Israeli government is responsible for the failure of the negotiations and the peace process due to its rejection of all terms of reference for negotiations, adherence to settlements’ and judaization of Jerusalem.”

Al-Malki, who strongly condemned these declarations, called on all international Quartet committee parties to seriously deal with these declarations.

He also called for an international unanimous decision to boycott Lieberman and all friendly and neighboring countries to uphold their responsibilities towards this persistence in the mentality of the occupation, settlements and terrorism, which “targets our president and leader, people and their legal national rights.”

He called on the Israeli government to condemn minister Lieberman’s declarations and hold him accountable for them.

He also called on the human rights council, in Geneva, to condemn these declarations and prevent their repetition.
