Besides protesting against the occupation, the theft of Nabi Saleh land for the construcion of the illegal Israeli colony of Halamish, demonstators also expressed strong solidarity with Israel's Palestinian political prisoners presently engaged in a mass hunger strike in Israeli jails in protest against the inhumane conditions imposed on them.
