Three Gaza activists hurt in Israeli air strike: medics

In Gaza City, Palestinian Territories, Three Palestinian activists were injured early on Monday in an Israeli air strike on southern Gaza, medics said.

The Israeli military official confirmed the air strike, which was the fifth confirmed air raid on the co-op in six days.

An Israeli military spokesman confirmed the raid, saying the air force had aimed Palestinians in southern Gaza “who were planning to attack Israel.”

The inhabitants in northern Gaza said the air force had thrown leaflets across the area notifying people to avoid coming within 300 metres (yards) of the border fence.
