Five Palestinians, three women and two men, were wounded in clashes between protestors and Israeli soldiers in the village of Nabi Saleh near the West Bank city of Ramallah on Friday.
Troops at Nabi Saleh Protest -
At least 20 Israeli military vehicles rolled into the village to stop the demonstration which started after the Friday mid-day prayer and fired a number of tear gas canisters at the protestors causing dozens to choke.
Troops also fired rubber-coated steel bullets wounding four in the legs and shoulders.
The village of Nabi Saleh organizes a weekly protest against the wall and settlements, sometimes ends with clashes between stone-throwing youth and the Israeli soldiers.
