Israeli naval forces arrested two Palestinian fishermen off Gaza coast on Sunday.
Chief of the fishermen syndicate Nizar Ayyash told Kuwait News Agency that Israeli naval vessels intercepted the two fishermen while fishing in the permitted zone off Gaza's coast.
The fishermen are from one family, "Murad Family," Ayyash said, stressing that the Israeli naval forces confiscated their boat as well as their equipment, and headed to an unknown place.
Ayyash said the Israeli occupation was fully responsible for the lives of the fishermen, calling on human rights organizations, particularly the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and called for an immediate interference for their release as well as their equipment and their boat.
Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza Strip are subjected almost daily to Israeli attacks and harassment, preventing them from fishing of more than two-mile distance.

Ayyash stressed out that seven Palestinian fishermen have been killed, as dozens wounded, in addition to the arrest of nearly 200 others since the summer of 2007.
Israeli Naval forces, which usually sails off the coast of Gaza, has stationed a large buoys at a distance of three nautical miles, which indicates that Palestinian fishermen are porhibited to exceed them.
