Abbas: Going to the UN is our Choice and Came after Negotiations Reached a Deadlock

Istanbul – PNN – On Saturday morning Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas opened a conference for Palestinian ambassadors in Istanbul. During his speech, President Abbas, said that we want to coexist with Israel once our rights are achieved. Turkey’s PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan took attended the conference as well.

ImagePresident Abbas retreated that he was looking for acceptable political outcome for the Palestinian people though negotiations “our choice is negotiations; but if all doors is shot we will go to the United Nations.” President Abbas explained.

Abbas praised the Turkish efforts in the Palestinian territories and their work in achieving the national reconciliation, the Presidents assured that the state bid in the UN is not a unilateral move but the settlement construction and Israel should stop it.

“We are facing a real financial crisis due to delay in payments by some donor countries” President Abbas also assured that Palestinians are careful to go to the UN unified.

From his part, Turkey’s PM, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, assured that Palestinians unable to achieve their rights is unacceptable, he added that he will not shay way from the just Palestinian cause because it’s a Turkish one, asserting that Israel can’t stop the deprived Palestinians for establishing their state.

Erdogan considered the Israeli siege on Gaza since five years as illegal and should be ended adding that the whole world should move to end that siege. The PM asked Palestinians to unite to get their legitimate rights explaining that Turkey support Palestinian state bid in the UN.
