The bulldozers of the Lod municipality, at the behest of the mayor, "Meir Nitzan", demolished this morning (Monday) the house of Mr. Ashraf Desouki, located in the neighborhood of Warda in Lod city.
It is reported that the police forces cordoned off the place at five in the morning, and prevented anyone from approaching the area, until the completion of the demolition.
In an interview with Mr. Abu Amin Desouki he said:" we tried to stop them, and I engaged with them into a verbal argument, but they completed the demolition as they had planned. They came while the locals were sleeping and demolished the house of my nephew. Desouki added the case is not an issue of the lack of licenses, they just do not want any presence of Arabs here in Lod."
