GAZA, July 26, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli Authorities Tuesday Prevented Salah Zidan, member of the Political Office of the Palestinian Democratic Front from leaving Gaza through Beit Hanoun crossing in order to participate in the Palestinian National Council (PNC) meeting in Ramallah on Wednesday.
In a statement, the democratic front condemned this Israeli measure and considered it an arbitrary act which represents a continuation of the Israeli violations and a persistent of the aggressive Israeli policy against Palestinians.
The front called upon international and humanitarian organizations to immediately intervene in order to expose the Israeli occupation’s crimes, aggressive policies and violations of Palestinian legitimate rights to freedom of movement between Gaza and the West Bank, which violate the international law and conventions.WAFA
