Palestinian resistance fired Saturday evening a rocket on an Israeli military post east of the town of Al-Qararah, northeast of the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
A Palestinian source told KUNA that the resistance fighters fired Katyusha 107 rocket towards Kissufim military base on Gaza Strip and Israel border.
The rocket directly hit a monitoring tower at the base, the source said, it added that an ambulance arrived at the site and Israeli Apache helicopter flew over targeted area at the attack.
So far, there was no Israeli confirmation on the attack or reports about causalities.
Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the leftist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), fired earlier Saturday four mortar rounds into Israel overnight.
