Argument between Representatives of Palestine and Israel at Security Council

On Tuesday, a strong quarrel occurred in the Security Council, between Palestine's representative, Riyad Mansour, and Israel's representative Ron Prosor, arguing about the reason behind the failure of the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations.

According to the Israeli newspaper Yediot Ahranot, the argument was because Mansour said that the reason behind the failure was the settlements, while Prosor said that the reason was the Palestinians' right to return.

The Palestinian-Israeli negotiations are still held in Amman, the capital of Jordan, under the supervision of the international Quartet's Committee and Jordan. The results of the meetings show that the negotiations have failed.
