RAMALLAH, Jan 13 (KUNA) -- Dozens were suffocated and injured after Israeli forces used tear gas on Friday against Palestinians peacefully protesting the separation wall in the West Bank.
In Belain village, a peaceful protest started against the wall and Israeli continuous settlement policy in Jerusalem, as well as rejecting Israeli policy of displacement to Palestinians there.
Many Palestinians and foreign supporters, including Israeli peace activists were among those who participated in the protest.
The Palestinian popular resistance organizing committee said in a statement that despite heavy rains, participants and residents were determined to make the protest.
The committee noted that Israeli occupation has used rubber bullets and tear gas against the protesters causing dozens to suffocate.
Meanwhile, in another Palestinian village north of West Bank, Kafr Qdom, Israeli forces attacked another peaceful Palestinian protest against the Separation Wall.
