One cannot help but feel revolted and ashamed by this total subjugation and humiliation of a people.
This is not easy watching as Palestinians are made to wait under the hot sun, in thunderstorms and pouring rain and in the bitter cold snows whether they are sick, old, pregnant, frightened children or just weary from a long day’s work.
It is a miserable life without end despite the promises of peace – each successive generation seeing the other being treated like scum, rounded up like cattle, barked at, mocked, disrespected and any remnant of dignity ground into the dirt by soldiers given free rein to treat them as they will.
The only terrorists in sight are the Israeli soldiers at the checkpoints. So much for the state that claims it is the shining light on the hill with the most moral army in the world!
