He said that Abbas will arrive in London Sunday. He will meet with British Prime Minister David Cameron and a number of British officials on Monday and brief them on the latest political developments in the region.

President Abbas will arrive Thursday in Moscow, capital city of Russia. He will meet with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Foreign Minister and other officials next Saturday January 21, Abu Rdainah said.

He pointed out that these three countries are members of the UN Security Council and have a privileged relationship with the Palestinian leadership and authority. '
Everyone will be informed of the Palestinian political leadership’s movements, particularly in light of the Israeli government’s intransigence and rejection to halt settlement activities and determine a clear reference for negotiations based on the 1967 borders, he said.
Abu Rudeineh said: “Abbas important tour comes within the framework of the ongoing Palestinian active and diplomatic move in order to consult and coordinate the position with the leaders of these countries, to serve the efforts made to save what remained of the peace process, especially the efforts of Jordan and the Quartet, taking into consideration that the Palestinian position is clear; commitment to a serious real and clear peace process based on the cessation of settlement activities and the 1967 borders, in preparation of re-lunching negotiations on the basis of the international legitimacy. '
He added: “communications with the US administration, as well as with the Quartet continue. There is no doubt that during the next two weeks many things will crystallize on the Palestinian arena.'
The international community and the Quartet are required to make further efforts to pressure Israel to abide by the terms of the peace process based on the cessation of settlement activities and the 1967 borders, concluded Abu Rudeineh.
